About Maria
Maria Tanner is the daughter of Ukrainian refugees who built a life from scratch — and she's spent her career doing the same, one deadline at a time. By day, she works in digital marketing; by night (and nap time, and the back seat of a minivan), she writes essays about the chaos of raising twin toddler girls while trying to keep a career intact.
She lives with her husband, her daughters, and two rescue dogs who have never once respected a work call. Per My Last Nerve is her first essay collection.
